Cynthia - "The Boss"

Cynthia runs the show and is an RN with over 35 yrs experience, so she has spent her entire life taking care of others, both people and animals. She has 5 dogs of her own, two Old English Bulldogs, a Boxer, a Bulldog and a Saint Bernard. Her compassion and respect for you and your pets is the foundation of her business. She is equally comfortable providing pet sitting for the smallest or shyest cat or dog, to the biggest, most rambunctious animal you have. Animals respect her and she has a natural way with them that puts both them and you at ease. You can feel confident your pet will get the loving care it needs with her pet sitters.Cynthia and her staff can work with you to provide a care plan that fits your needs and your schedule, offering you the peace of mind of knowing your pets are in good hands. Christy (In Loving Memory)

Christy found herself at a place in her life where the would rather work with animals than continue in the corporate environment. Before corporate America, she had been working towards a career in veterinary care and this job has allowed her to get back to caring for and working with our little furry friends. She is a certified veterinary technician, experienced in phlebotomy and animal injections. She has one cat named Stanley, but has had cats, dogs, hamsters, ferrets and fish throughout her life. She loves them all.

Gina

Gina has been a devoted animal lover her whole life. She graduated from Cedar Ridge High School in 2016, and is now attending ACC for prerequisites to pursue a Career as a doctor specializing in diagnostic medicine. She moved from Los Angeles to Austin when she was seven, with her thirteen year old cat, Tingting. She has owned numerous dogs and cats, but currently has 3 cats and 1 chicken! Gina chosen career dovetails nicely with her love of animals and we are thrilled to have her on our staff here at Your Helping Paws.

Maggie

Maggie has been on board for about 2 years now and loves getting to spend time with all kinds of animals! She has a 5-year old daughter who is starting kindergarten so when she isnot with your fur babies, she's spending time with her. Maggie has spent her whole life surrounded by dogs, cats, and bunnies, so your fur babies will always have exceptional care! In her free time she enjoys getting coffee with friends, and doing eyelashes. She is looking forward to her next visit with your fur babies. 🥰

Beth

Originally from Kentucky, Beth has lived in Austin since 2016. From the early years of her life, her entire world has always been animals, particularly dogs. When she became a young adult, her passion for animal rescue began and it has never faltered. She is a diehard advocate for fostering and adoption. She has always had a houseful of animals and has a special place in her heart for special needs and senior pets. Her 7 dogs and 1 cat graciously share their home with her. In addition to her own pets, her experience consists of 20 years in the pet care industry. She cherishes all the bonds she has created with other people's pets over the years, caring for them as if they were her own - with love, patience and dedication. She enjoys being able to give others the peace of mind to be able to leave their pets and know that they can be away without any worries. As a parent herself, she knows that sense of comfort is priceless. She looks forward to meeting you and your fur babies.

Dawn

Dawn has been loving and caring for fur babies for over 25 years, including pet rabbits and cats as well as some hamsters and toads too!  She reports that she is currently owned by 3 cats, one of which requires special medical care.  Dawn has rescued and fostered several rabbits with HRRN (House Rabbit Resource Network) where she also volunteered, and she has been a volunteer with the Austin Guinea Pig Rescue for over 10 years. 

 

Dawn has a wealth of experience providing special needs care to pets, including insulin, chemo, tube feedings and so on.  She covers Round Rock and the surrounding area.  We are so proud to have her as part of the Paws family!

Katy

Katy began her career in pet care during Covid, working in boarding and doggy daycare. She enjoys all aspects of the animal care industry and hopes to learn her way through animal rescue as well. Katy earned an English degree from Cal State University and does freelance writing in her spare time. She enjoys spending time with her son Tristan and her dog Jack.

Sarah

Sarah is another homegrown Austinite, born and raised. As a child she spent summers on the farm chasing chickens and playing 'King of the Mountain' with the goats. She has also owned or fostered dozens of cats and dogs, of all sizes and temperaments, as well as birds, gerbils, hamsters, sugar gliders, a hedgehog and fish. As a stay-at-home mom she has been blessed to spend the last fifteen years nurturing her babies but with all of them in school she is excited to share her love with your (fur)babies!
